I wish I could make this into a stamp...does anyone want to? Or would you be kind enough to tell me how to make it a stamp?

I joined the :iconlibertyskidsfans: group here on DA. It is a fan group of a PBS show called "Liberty's Kids"-it was an excellent cartoon that taught children about the American Revolution in a fun and exciting way.

I adore this show and had great memories with it even if it's sortve silly. I was so excited to find a fangroup for it. It's not really big but I plan to change that sooner or later ;) If you are interested in history or the show, this is the place for you! It'd be great if you'd come check us out!

Image is not my own, I claim no right to it. Liberty's Kids and all the characters belong to PBS Broadcasting and to DIC

Ya! We get it on the streaming thing on our Wii.
It's really good. It feels like a real Saterday morning cartoon than some boring after school special.

Do you know who the animater is for this show? Because I feel like I reconize the style of the animation.

Exactly! It's actually teaching you things in a fun way :D I still wish that they would create more shows like this for every part of history or in the very least for something like the Civil War, WWI and WWII!

Hmmm I'm not sure actually, I think it's the DIC Company through PBS?

Ya! Actully, I never saw it until my mom told me about it and showed it to me.
Ya, it would be nice.

No, I meant who was the animater was? If you don't know, then that's ok.

According to Wiki, "Liberty's Kids is an animated educational historical fiction television series produced by DIC Entertainment, originally broadcast on PBS Kids from September 2, 2002 to April 4, 2003"

So I still think that DIC animated it xD

Oh. This came out around the same time as the second Ninja Turtles cartoon, and the animation in that looks alike.

So maybe the animaters for DIC did the TMNT cartoon too.

It doesn't matter, it's still awesome!

No, no, TMNT 2003k was produced by 4Kids Entertainment and Mirage Studios(the creators of the turtles)! Aww I love those guys, and I think the style of that show is awesome! But yeah they came out around the same time

Hmm...that's strange. Your scanner, if it's asking for a certain disc, should've come with it if that's a requirement for it to scan. I am sorry, I don't know how to fix it :(

Unfortunately, I doubt that they will show it again on PBS, they have really changed that channel from what it was so I'm not sure. I think you could find the episodes on youtube or on another online sight. If not, I own the box set and maybe I could put the episodes online. I hope you would like it, it's really interesting and entertaining :)

You are so lucky! They took it off PBS where I live :( I was so sad...I loved this show as well as Sagwa the Chinese Siamese Cat, they both were great kids shows that were very educational and fun.

Yeah I remember Sagwa too! I think they took it off the air here as well...then again I dont tend to watch much television these days...oh but I did find something interesting (dont know if I told you or not already) I found my old VHS copy of Fievel Goes West when I was down at my grandmas so now I have the first one on my laptop and the sequel on VHS, yay!

Ah bummer, they took off all the good shows :( I think they should put them back on or at least make other shows like them because they actually taught kids something other than how to count to 20 and say the alphabet or learn like 1 word of Spanish in a half hour *rolls eyes*

I don't watch any tv anymore...and thats because I don't own a tv at university lol

Oh that's so great! You mustve been happy ;) I love the sequel, especially the music in it  That's so great...I have the first as a VHS, the sequel as a DVD and all the others as VHS's :)

Yeah, they did take off a lot of a good shows to replace them with these new ones that make you just sigh and shake your head at what they are teaching kids these days. But its okay, Mister Rogers is still on the air and that show was always my favorite as a little boy XD

I have a t.v but I dont have cable or anything like that cause I cant afford it (wouldnt watch if I had it probably :/) I tend to play more videogames and stuff myself...speaking of college and stuff, I was offered my chance at art school but I am still waiting for confirmation...and thank you, I was happy ^__^ I love Fievel Goes West, it is my absolute favorite out of them all, I nearly fainted when I found it lol

BTW, I am still really looking forward to a chance to rp with you on Thanksgiving, I can hardly wait ^__^

Aww Mr. Rogers! I remember that...now that I think of it, his show was really boring. But it was nice and taught you manners and was a really good show for kids

Oh videogames are fun...which ones do you like to play the best? I like Kingdom Hearts, The Chronicles of Narnia, Jak and Daxter and the TMNT games :D

Oh my gosh you got a chance at art school?! How? That's so great, you should go for it! Since you say confirmation, does that mean you're Catholic? Just curious, and if so I hope you are able to get confirmed and good luck! I'm a Christian so we don't have Confirmation but I've heard that it's a long process.

Yeah me too! Hopefully I'll have some time, there is so much I need to do-university homework in general, writing and completing my fanfictions, art, rping, hanging out with family and friends, cooking, football game, church, ect. It will be busy! What about you?

Yeah, his show wasnt exactly all exciting and action packed, but it made for a great way to start your morning all quiet and serene like.

Uhm, my favorite videogames are, well they range from things like Mortal Kombat (starting with the old Sega version), Super Mario Bros., Hook (for Sega lol), The American Tail videogames were HARRRD so I only ever played them a couple times at my uncles house years ago, as for newer games, I liked Battlefied Bad Company, Army of Two, Gears of War 1 & 2, Left for Dead 1 & 2, Morrowind, Need for Speed Underground and Most Wanted, Wanted, Halo 1-2-and 3 (havent played ODST or Reach yet), I liked the old arcade version of TMNT myself, uhhhh, I like lots of videogames so there isnt probably a game out there I havent played or dont like ^__^

And yeah, my sister offered the chance of art school to me but I dont know if she was being serious or not so thats why I am waiting, to see if she is serious. Although you are correct, I am a Catholic (albeit not a very devout one), but yeah...my Thanksgiving is going to be boring, I can already tell...and since most [most meaning all >.>] of my family lives in another state...I will still eat turkey with my mom and my step-dad or I will end up with my good ol' fashioned "Thanksgiving Pizza" like last year lol I would say the one thing I have planned or am really looking forward to this year is my time with you...I know it sounds silly but I have really grown to like you and think of our conversations like this as something special between us...lol sorry if that came out weird or anything, I tend to get like this when I really like someone

Wow those are a lot of video games ;)

They had American Tale vidogames?! I have nevr heard of that, I so totally want to play!

I don't know if she was serious or not but if you really want to do it, I think you should go for it. Waiting and seeing what you want is smart too, maybe go to a community college for a few years first to get rid of your general ed classes and give you time to get used to college and make your decision where you want to go.

Aww how sad, a thanksgiving pizza is not the same thing as a turkey...but it is the gratefulness and thankfulness that counts :) I hope you have fun, make the most of it!

Oh and I really hope I'll be able to talk with you this Thanksgiving break since it means so much to you! Oh and I am curious, and sorry if this sounds weird or makes it awkward, but when you say like me...you aren't meaning it in a romantic way, right? I just don't want to get the wrong impression ^^;
